Month-to-Month Lease Agreement

A month-to-month lease agreement is between a landlord who agrees to rent property to a tenant that automatically renews each month until either party terminates it. If the landlord or tenant decides to terminate the lease, 30 days’ notice is commonly required. Any other changes to the lease, such as increasing rent, also require a similar timeframe but can be changed at any time.
