Month-to-Month Laws

Termination Notice – If the tenants want to end the month-to-month lease agreement in Hawaii, they must give a 28-day written notice, while landlords must give a 45-day notice. (§521-71(a)(b))

Increasing Rent – The landlord must give at least a 45-day written notice between raising the rent amount. (§521-21(d))
