Maximum Fees ($)

Application Fee – The landlord cannot charge more than the actual cost of obtaining the information. (HRS §521-46)
Security Deposit – The landlord cannot charge more than 1 month’s rent. (HRS §521-44(b))
Pet Deposit – If the tenant has a non-assistance pet, the landlord can charge an additional fee; however, it cannot exceed 1 month’s rent. (HRS §521-44(b))
