Month-to-Month Laws

Termination Notice – A 30-day written notice to quit is required by either the landlord or tenant. (§ 34-18-37(b))

Increasing Rent – If a landlord raises the rent, a 30-day notice must be given. A 60-day notice is required for a tenant over the age of 62.
