Colorado Sublease Agreement

A Colorado Sublease Agreement is a written document used when a tenant wishes to rent all or a portion of their rental property to a new tenant, the sublessee, with the landlord’s consent. The original lease must be followed in the new sublease contract. However, the original tenant remains legally responsible for the original lease with the landlord, including timely rent payments and maintaining the property.
