Application Fee – A landlord cannot charge an application fee; however, real estate brokers and agents are permitted to. ((Section 15B(1)(b))
Security Deposit – The maximum amount a landlord may charge for a security deposit is one month’s rent. (Section 15B(1)(b)(iii))
