Maximum Fees ($)

Application Fee – As of December 2023, the landlord can charge a maximum of $62.02. This fee is adjusted annually. (Cal. Civ. Code § 1950.6)
Security Deposit – Landlords cannot charge more than 2 months’ rent for unfurnished rental units and 3 months’ for furnished properties. (Cal. Civ. Code § 1950.5(c))
