Maximum Fees ($)

Application Fee – There is no limit. Kansas law does not regulate how much a landlord can charge.
Security Deposit – Landlords can charge up to 1 month’s rent for unfurnished properties and 1.5 months’ rent for furnished rental units. (§ 58-2550)
Pet Fee – The landlord can charge up to a half month’s rent if they approve pets. (§ 58-2550)
