Maximum Fees ($)

Application Fee – No laws. However, the Alaska Dept. of Law recommends that the landlord charge only enough to cover “actual and reasonable” costs.
Pet Deposit – 1 month’s rent (excluding service animals). (AS 34.03.070(h))
Security Deposit – 2 months’ rent, except there is no limit if the monthly rent is $2,000 or more. (AS 34.03.070(a))
